Initial Consultation

 

An initial consultation takes from 1-2 hours.  During this time, you will be asked to describe your complaints in detail in order to outline those factors that make your picture of disease unique.  Once this detailed account of your symptoms has been outlined, a remedy most similar to your symptom picture will be prescribed.   ***Homeopathic remedies can be safely taken with conventional drugs.

 

Questions concerning the following may be asked of your complaints:

  1. Sensations
  2. Location
  3. Intensity
  4. Frequency
  5. What makes the complaint better or worse?
  6. When did it begin?
  7. Is there anything that accompanies your complaint, even if it seems unrelated, e.g., anger followed by diarrhea?

To fully complete your picture, you will also be asked about your sensitivities, energy, personality, sleep, digestion, etc. 

 

Follow Up Consultation

The follow-up consultation generally takes place 3-5 weeks after taking a remedy in chronic cases and sooner for acute cases.  During the 30-60 minute follow-up consultation, the homeopath will assess any changes and then decide to: repeat the dose if a favourable healing response was triggered, or continue to allow the healing response to take place and repeat the dose at a later date, or prescribe the next indicated remedy.
